CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • A successful candidate will be responsible contributing to project design prior to execution through participation in pre-construction drawing review, design evaluation, pre-construction budgeting and scheduling.

  • Preparing a detailed construction budget including take-offs and estimating as required.

  • Preparing a detailed construction schedule, and monitoring milestones to ensure adherence.

  • Preparing detailed scopes of work, and then tendering out all components of work, preparing recommendations for approvals, and preparing all contracts.

  • Assuming full responsibility for the execution of assigned projects, including the direction of the Site Superintendent and other labour forces.

  • Managing all subcontractor and suppliers to ensure quality control, cost control and to meet the schedule.

  • Managing the turnover of homes to the homebuyers, including creating a turnover schedule, managing the appropriate personnel to perform orientations, and ensuring homes are deficiency free at completion.

  • Contributing to a culture of improvement by actively participating in the improvement of company policies and procedures as well as providing mentorship to junior colleagues for their career growth; and

  • Developing and implementing project safety plans which adhere to Trillium’s standards of zero tolerance for dangerous safety infractions at all times as well as managing and liaising with WorkSafe BC officers.

     

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 5-years of related construction management experience, preferably with an established multi-family developer.

  • Recent experience with the full-project cycle of wood-frame townhome, 4-storey or 6-storey wood frame buildings.

  • A broad and thorough understanding of residential/commercial construction practices in Metro Vancouver, ideally gained through work on projects in the region.

  • Ideally, post-secondary education in construction management, building technology or engineering.

  • A demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Projects, Auto CAD, MS Excel and Timberline.

  • Excellent communication, organization, time management, presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Relevant experience in contract administration, contract shop drawing review and document management; and

  • A valid BC driver’s license, along with a willingness and ability to regular travel to sites throughout Metro Vancouver.

CUSTOMER CARE - TECHNICIAN
 

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Customer Care Manager, the customer care technician is responsible for the set up and detailing of new our homes in preparation for an unparalleled high-level homeowner closing experience. In addition, this role includes responding to and addressing homeowner and strata warranty claims post occupancy. Responsible for timely and accurately reporting warranty claim results and dealing with the homeowners in an empathetic and professional manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Detail new homes to Trillium standards prior to homeowner orientations.

  • Assist in coordinating trade item completion with site superintendents.

  • Conduct homeowner orientations.

  • Address Pre delivery items prior to key turnover.

  • Conduct key turnover appointments.

  • Address warranty related items post key turnover. 

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years’ experience in a customer care technician role.

  • Experience in troubleshooting warranty related issues an asset.

  • Practical experience repairing various building components an asset.

  • Results and solution-oriented.

  • Friendly and personable manner in representing Trillium company values.

CUSTOMER CARE - COORDINATOR
 

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Customer Care Manager, the Customer Care Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day administrative functions of Trillium’s Customer Care Department. This role manages the flow of communication for each homeowner throughout the closing process and HPO warranty period. Responsible for maintaining accurate service records and to ensure timely and appropriate customer service delivery and a high-level homeowner experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and record all service requests to ensure accurate information is available for customer service reps and/or trades contractors and homeowners.

  • Follow all service targets to ensure timely completion of service requests including following up with our trade partners and Trillium service technicians.

  • Maintain homeowner service records from completion through end of warranty period.

  • Correspond to homeowners regarding warranty information on behalf of our clients.

  • Set up, communicate, and record homeowner orientation and project key turnover documents.

  • Design and maintain homeowner maintenance manuals.

  • Develop and an effective relationship with fellow colleagues working in a team environment.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years’ experience in residential customer care role.

  • Knowledge of HPO warranty coverage and guidelines.

  • General knowledge of construction and typical warranty related topics.

  • Ability to employ available resources and sound judgement to determine warrantable items.

  • Friendly and personable manner in representing Trillium company values.

  • Microsoft office experience an asset.
